This linear shaft rail is made from carbon steel, the smooth rod is great for acting as guides or allowing bearings to slide on. These rods come in various thickness and lengths and are the basic level components required for CNC and 3D movement, along with aluminum extrusion v-slot channels. Everything else is based on the measurement of these two parts. These rods/rails can be mounted onto any frame using pillow blocks, designed to fasten or secure them down.          

We recommend using white lithium grease to reduce friction and offer a smooth linear movement.

You can select regular common length in market from the options from 4mm to 1050mm, longer linear rail shaft can be cut as your want.
